MassKara Festival – Bacolod’s Festival of Smiles

Instead of losing hope, the people of Bacolod created a festival filled with music, dance, and vibrant masks to uplift their spirits. The dancers wear large masks decorated with feathers, beads, and bright colors. Their performances show energy, unity, and joy.

MassKara Festival is more than just a tourist attraction. It is a symbol of resilience and positivity. It teaches us that even during hardships, people can choose to smile and celebrate life. The festival also boosts tourism and supports local businesses.

In my opinion, MassKara Festival truly represents the strength and optimism of the Negrense people. It reminds us to remain hopeful no matter what challenges we face.
